Looking for energetic and dependable individuals to add to our team. A great attitude and being team oriented are a must! We are a new premier fondue restaurant located in New Haven, CT. Our mission is to provide the Perfect Night Out for our guests and a positive work environment for our team members. We are looking for both full- and part-time bartender/server positions. Must have a passion for providing exceptional food and beverages in a fun, polished casual restaurant.
Bartenders/servers will create memorable guest experiences by making great food and beverage recommendations and serving delicious food. You will be a member of a cohesive team that supports each other’s success in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities:
- Understand our culture and do whatever it takes to create a positive and memorable guest experience.
- Make food and drink recommendations to guests and answer all menu- and service-related questions.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in with each guest regularly and anticipating their needs.
- Complete side work and other responsibilities during and after your shift
- Goes above and beyond in helping coworkers achieve the ultimate goal of giving each guest a perfect night out
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers to provide recommendations and answer questions about drink selections.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
- Uphold high standards of customer service while creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new Melting Pot cocktail recipes to enhance the drink menu.
REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of craft cocktails, craft beers, and wine required
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Desire to go above and beyond for all guests creating the Perfect Night Out
- Great personality and Neat Appearance
- Must have Food and Beverage Handlers Certificates
