What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aircraft Maintenance Technician A&P position at Melting Pot?
Silver Airways is hiring dedicated and ambitious AMTs to be a part of the Silver family. Silver Airways currently provides more routes within Florida and to the Bahamas than any other airline and we need your help to keep our fleet running smoothly! The A&P Technician (AMT) accomplishes maintenance checks, up to and including line & service checks, along with non-routine heavy maintenance.
Day-to-day responsibilities :
- Troubleshoots and repairs aircraft systems, engine, electrical, and avionics malfunctions
- Completes logbooks, non-routine work cards, and documents in accordance with General Maintenance Manual
- Accomplishes minor structural and composite material repairs
- Reports to shift lead mechanic or supervisor for work and shift assignments
- Ability to read and interpret Maintenance Manual, Illustrated Parts Catalog, Structural Repair and Wiring
- Must be able to use Diagrams System Schematics, and use ATA codes
- Must have own tools
- Must be computer literate and proficient
- Must be able to work flexible hours, shifts, and days off
- Must be available to work days, nights, holidays, and overtime as requested
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or any time in the future
- Must pass Drug / Alcohol Screen, FBI Fingerprinting, & 10-Year Background Check
- Must possess current U.S. Passport or equivalent with applicable visas
- Must have a valid driver's license
