Job Description
As a Custodian, you will be responsible for performing daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping floors, emptying wastebaskets, dusting surfaces, and cleaning bathrooms. You will also be required to maintain equipment, notify supervisors of needed supplies, and perform other duties as assigned by the Custodial Foreman.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have three to six months of training or experience in janitorial services. You must also be able to stand 80% of the work time, walk 15%, and sit 5%. Additionally, you must be able to lift/carry 50 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds to clean work areas and handle supplies and equipment. You must also be able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and handle objects.
