Door Attendant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Door Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to guest satisfaction in a resort environment.

Duties

• Greet guests as they arrive and depart, ensuring a warm and friendly welcome.
• Assist guests with luggage and provide information about hotel amenities and services.
• Manage the front door area, ensuring it is clean and organized at all times.
• Operate phone systems to communicate with other departments effectively.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly, maintaining high standards of guest relations.
• Collaborate with the front desk staff to ensure smooth check-in and check-out processes.
• Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Maintain knowledge of local attractions and events to provide recommendations to guests.
• Support the overall operations of the hotel by assisting in various tasks as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience in guest services or hospitality management is preferred.
• Familiarity with phone etiquette and handling phone systems is essential.
• Experience in front desk operations or hotel management is a plus.
• Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to a diverse clientele.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction are crucial for success in this role.

Pay: $19.89 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
