Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Newark, NJ, for a Valet Attendant. The Valet Attendant will be responsible for greeting customers, parking and retrieving vehicles, managing keys, and providing exceptional customer service. Other day-to-day tasks include maintaining the parking area’s cleanliness, assisting customers with any luggage or belongings, and handling any customer inquiries or issues that may arise.
Qualifications
- Customer service skills: ability to interact with customers in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner
- Driving skills: valid driver's license and ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Physical fitness: ability to stand for long periods, run short distances, and perform light lifting
- Attention to detail: ability to manage keys and keep track of parked vehicles accurately and efficiently
- Communication skills: excellent verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Flexibility: willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Previous valet or customer service experience is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent education
