Overview:
We are seeking a DTF Printer Technician to join our team in-person in Old Hickory, TN. The ideal candidate will have experience with a DTF printer, heat pressing hats, t-shirts, and other apparel along with materials handling, order fulfillment and operating high value machinery.
Duties:
- Set up and operate Direct to Film Transfer printer
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Utilize computer software for machine operation
- Inspect printed materials for accuracy and consistency
Qualifications:
- Understanding of DTF printing process, including film preparation, ink application, powdering, and curing.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Ability to manipulate digital artwork, color correction, and file preparation for printing.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and materials handling
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a DTF Printer Technician, t-shirt shop, or printing facility.
- Proficiency in using commercial grade heat press equipment
- Knowledge of heat press settings and techniques for proper transfer of DTF prints
- Troubleshooting skills for printer maintenance
