Warehouse/CDLA Driver
Job Summary

We are looking for a CDL A driver with routes are within a day's drive so you will be home each night. We have established a new Warehouse in Blountsville from a facility in Boaz that we quickly outgrew. We are a growing family owned and employee friendly business.
This position verifies and delivers products per instructions on the purchase order. Prepares and secures product for delivery. Verifies and records accurate products by checking items against the manifest, invoice, or purchase order. Assists with warehouse duties including shipping/receiving and inventory by accurate identification, labeling, inventory rotation, and locating of products, parts, and merchandise. Adhere to and maintain Good Distribution Practices (GDP).
Performance Dimensions and Tasks
Verifies and Delivers Products
- Pulls, verifies, and delivers products to the proper location per the specifications of the purchase orders using a tractor/trailer or bob truck. Prepares products for delivery by banding and assembling boxes or skids and wrapping, labeling, and recording each load on the appropriate manifest or shipping invoice as Ensures that deliveries are accurate and made on time per schedule provided by Warehouse personnel. Loads and unloads deliveries as required.
Assists with Warehouse Duties
- Loads and unloads trucks as needed. Stocks and maintains inventory levels by performing inventory duties including visual and physical inventory counts, warehousing location, proper bin, labeling and part identification, and inventory accuracy. Records accurate receipt of products by checking items against the manifest, invoice, or purchase order. Receives and distributes inventory utilizing a computerized inventory control software
- Establish great customer service with our customers.
ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
Education: High School graduate or GED
Experience: Prefer 3‐5 years of tractor/trailer operation, delivery, shipping/receiving, and scheduling. Must have a current CDL Class A license w/Hazmat Endorsement (if no Hazmat you will need to get it as soon as possible) and DOT physical.
Skills: Attention to detail is Inventory control, interpreting measurements, following verbal and written instructions, listening to and interacting with others (co‐workers and supervisors).
Knowledge/Ability: Experience in the operation of tractor/trailers, bob trucks, computers, forklift, pallet jacks, and two‐wheeled dollies. Knowledge of DOT licensing and logbook requirements a must.

Physical Requirements
This position requires ability to read alphanumeric text, distinguish by sight and touch marginal differences in dimensions, manual dexterity of both hands, occasional sitting for long periods of time, occasional standing for long periods of time, twisting and bending from a standing position, and occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs. per hour.
Working Environment
All aspects of this job are performed in an industrial, warehouse setting with exposure to weather elements, such as extreme heat and cold as per season.
This is an hourly position.
All candidates must pass a DOT requirements for physical testing, a background check and drug testing.
