Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Superintendent Assistant to support the onsite construction team by monitoring jobsite activities, documenting project progress, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Responsibilities:
Monitor and Document Onsite Activity:
o Track all onsite activities, including subcontractor personnel, deliveries, visitors, and incidents.
o Maintain accurate daily logs with detailed descriptions of jobsite operations.
o Take and organize photographs of work progress and activities for documentation.
Safety & Compliance:
o Organize and conduct weekly safety meetings with all onsite personnel.
o Assist in enforcing company and OSHA safety standards to maintain a safe work environment.
o Proactively identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures to prevent incidents.
Construction Coordination:
o Assist in managing and coordinating trades throughout the construction phase.
o Support the Superintendent in scheduling and communicating with subcontractors and vendors.
o Ensure materials and equipment are delivered on time and properly stored onsite.
General Support:
o Provide administrative support to the Superintendent, including documentation and reporting.
o Assist with maintaining site cleanliness and organization.
o Ensure all jobsite personnel follow project guidelines and company policies.
Qualifications:
· Previous construction experience is a plus but not required.
· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
· Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
· Basic knowledge of construction processes and safety procedures preferred.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn project management software.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
· Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
