MEMCO Houston is hiring HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANICS
Job Location: Brookshire, TX (near Katy)
Pay Rate $20/hr and up (based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Follow drawings for assembly of key items: triplex pump, fluid end, boost pump, diesel engine, and hydraulics
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems, and make necessary repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance and repair on various types of heavy equipment
- Maintain accurate work log in the Company’s ERP system
- Communicate effectively with other team members
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and equipment
Required Skills and Qualifications
- MUST have valid driver's license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Experience with electrical, welding, fabrication, and hydraulics is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Flexible with schedule to meet production quotas
- Must be able to read and understand service manuals, schematics, and blueprints
