QA/ QC Inspector - Commercial

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure that all construction projects meet standards for safety, quality, and compliance. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with experience in commercial construction who can inspect workmanship, enforce project specifications, and collaborate with project teams to resolve quality concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
· Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and industry standards.
· Identify and document non-conformances, recommending corrective actions to maintain project integrity.
· Monitor materials, workmanship, and installation processes to uphold quality expectations.
· Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to implement quality control plans.
· Ensure adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
· Prepare and maintain detailed quality reports, checklists, and inspection records.
· Participate in preconstruction meetings to establish quality expectations from the start.
· Oversee post-construction inspections and warranty-related quality assessments.
Qualifications:
· 3 years of experience in quality control or construction inspection (commercial projects preferred).
· Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry codes/regulations.
· Experience with General Contracting, CMAR, and Design-Build projects is a plus.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical documents, and project specifications.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Proficiency in construction quality management software is a plus.
· Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
· OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
