The Claim Operations Intern will create a Claim department knowledge repository in SharePoint to centralize all Claim handling resources including training materials, documentation, workflow, cheat sheets and links.
- Gathers materials, documents and commonly used links and organizes in SharePoint folder. Versions/tags documents as they are added. Creates templates identified through the project.
- Creates a maintenance and governance plan for ongoing oversight and updating of documents and sites.
- Works with internal and external partners to update documentation to bring it current.
- Identifies gaps in knowledge and creates documents and workflows.
- Creates process to notify users when documents are updated or added.
- Assists with Claim department roll out and training of SharePoint site.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing an associate degree or above
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word and SharePoint preferred.
- Strong customer service skills – the ability to work with employees at all levels.
- Must have strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Strong research skills with the ability to problem solve.
- Strong attention to detail.
