Toddler teacher assistant part time 2-5:30

We are a small preschool in downtown Greer with a family atmosphere. We are looking for just the right person to work/play with older infants and toddlers. Monday thru Friday 2:00-5:30 pm. Subbing would be an option as well.

This would be perfect for a college student. There are no nights or weekends.

• Care and Supervise children in an intimate classroom setting.
• Attend to children's basic needs by feeding them and changing their diapers.
• Teach basic skills, such as color, shape, number and letter recognition, personal hygiene, and social skills.
• Read books to entire classes or to small groups.
• Organize and lead activities designed to promote physical, mental, and social development, such as games, arts and crafts, music, storytelling.
• Demonstrate activities to children.
• Must be able to see and or hear a child in distress up to 25 feet away.
• Must be able to lift 40lbs repeatedly during the course of each day.
• Must be able to sit on the floor with children and be able to get up quickly.
• available Monday -Friday 2:00-5:30pm

• High energy.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• An understanding of child development.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification or willing to take the class
• Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.

Salary : $13 - $14
