JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for independently performing outpatient and inpatient EEG on patients greater than 8 years of age. Must be able to work with minimal supervision. This position requires exercising exceptional judgment while performing quality studies according to ACNS guidelines. Strives for superior performance by consistently providing a product or service to leadership and staff that is recognized as ultimately contributing to the patient and family experience. Recognizes and demonstrates understanding of patient and family centered care.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs diagnostic EEG as prescribed by a physician.
- Cleans and maintains areas and equipment.
- Must be able to implement skills in such a manner as to convey the values and mission of the institution.
- Demonstrates job related aspects of patient safety to assure a safe environment, safe and effective use of equipment and technology, and decreased risk of potential adverse patient occurrences.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and supports hospital mission, vision, value statements, standards, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality statements, corporate compliance plan, customer service standards, and the code of ethical behavior.
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient.
