Job Summary and Qualifications
The Emergency Management Coordinator is responsible for the coordination and implementation of emergency preparedness standards to facilitate a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This position coordinates education and exercises within the organization to ensure an organized response during a disaster.
Responsibilities include the integration of safety and other relevant regulations, and 24/7 oversight of incident and event response. This position will also serve as the liaison for the facility to local, regional, and state agencies, corporate and division resources, and local EMS services.
What qualifications you will need:Education:
Associate Degree or 2 years work experience in relevant field is required
Certification/License:
EMT, Paramedic or LPN is required
Experience:
Relevant emergency experience is highly preferred.
