We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthopedic Trauma Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Job Responsibilities
As an Orthopedic Trauma RN, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assessing the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Providing exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
- Collaborating with medical providers and the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitoring and administering prescribed medications, as well as documenting care administration in the patient's medical record.
- Acting as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess:
- A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- A Registered Nurse Diploma, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
