Schedule

Full Time, Night Shift : 8 : 30 PM - 7 : 00 AM, with weekend shifts as needed. Enjoy a $20,000 sign-on bonus!

Qualifications

Education : Completion of an accredited ultrasound program is required.

Licensure / Certification / Registry : Must be licensed by ARDMS or ARRT as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer and / or as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT). BLS CPR certification is also required.

Experience : A minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic ultrasound is preferred, with strong experience in ultrasound equipment evaluation, troubleshooting, and quality control.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including interventional and vascular exams on outpatients of all ages, adhering to established standards and protocols.
  • Conduct ultrasound procedures for inpatients in various units, including general, IMC, and ICU, utilizing both department equipment and portable sonography.
  • Execute diagnostic ultrasound evaluation in surgical settings, ensuring compliance with health standards.
  • Conduct Transcranial Doppler Exams.

  • Stay proficient in both routine and emergency patient care practices.
  • Implement proper infection control measures according to departmental guidelines.
  • Monitor equipment and supplies to ensure optimal department operations.
  • Ensure accurate recording and transmission of patient data.
  • Follow procedures for incident reporting as per departmental requirements.
  • Review and suggest purchases of equipment and supplies based on needs.
  • Engage in ongoing education and training while remaining informed about technological advancements.
  • Work independently while providing mentorship to entry-level sonographers.
  • Coordinate patient flow efficiently within the department.
  • Perform additional duties as required or assigned.
