The EAP Intake Specialist plays a vital role in providing exceptional support to callers of the Employee Assistance Program, Farm Line, and Memorial Emotional Support Line. This position functions as a crucial point of contact for individuals seeking assistance with various needs including counseling, legal, financial, wellness consultations, and crisis intervention. By effectively conducting brief assessments and facilitating scheduling, the EAP Intake Specialist will ensure clients receive timely and appropriate services to address their concerns.
In addition, the EAP Intake Specialist will address calls received on the Emotional Support Line and the Farm Line, assessing caller needs and connecting them to appropriate resources, whether for outpatient counseling, advanced care planning, or community support services.
Qualifications
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field is required, preferably in social services.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related human service field is preferred.
