Job Summary and Qualifications
Our Nuclear Medicine Technologists perform tests for diagnosis and medical research. They prepare and give small doses of radioactive drugs to patients, then use high-level imaging equipment to record images of the radioactive material in the body.
Key Responsibilities:
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist completes nuclear medicine procedures including routine procedures and nuclear medicine therapies
- Participates in Performance Improvement and Quality Improvement activities
- Works within guidelines established in policies and procedure manual and complies with all safety and infection control guidelines
Requirements:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Associate Degree
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB), or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
