Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide clinical expertise and ensure high-quality, efficient care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparation for exam, and instructing patients on collection of necessary samples/tests and vitals.
- Notify patients of test results and follow-up appointments, and instruct them and their families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Manage patient records, including chart entries and posting lab/tests and examination results.
- Schedule tests and treatments, including arranging referrals to specialists and obtaining pre-authorizations when directed by the provider.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting is preferred.
- Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in accordance with state regulations.
