Job Summary And Qualifications
The Director Central Sterile Processing will be an experienced Sterile Processing Tech or Registered Nurse responsible for the decontamination, preparation, sterile processing of surgical instruments for patient use in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Also, the Director will be accountable for maintaining the standards of quality established for the department; development of processes that meet the needs of the patients, physicians, and user departments in the hospital, within targeted productivity and budget parameters. The Director is also responsible for first line supervision of all Sterile Processing activities, staff scheduling, shift management and the coordination of surgical instruments to the operating rooms.

What qualifications you will need:
- Graduate accredited Central Sterile Program required; Bachelor's of Science in a Healthcare related field preferred
- Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) required
- 3 years in a leadership position in Sterile Processing (CSD) required
