Join a highly collaborative team of clinical service managers at Memorial Health and make an impact on the health of patients and team members. As the Director of Wellness, you will be responsible for enhancing health outcomes, improving wellness program efficiency, and ensuring the overall success of wellness initiatives for patients, employees, and the community. Seeking a dynamic leader with proven leadership skills and a passion for service excellence. The successful candidate will lead a seasoned team of exercise experts who excel in customer service. AACVPR certified cardiac and pulmonary rehab, exercise therapy for PAD, and integration into our clinical weight management program are a few of the specialized outpatient services offered. As an award-winning employee and community wellness facility, additional responsibilities include leading health fairs, offering workplace health programs, firefighter fitness testing, community classes, health risk appraisals and biometric services. Our facility doubles as a community adult fitness facility with a robust membership that benefits from medically supervised exercise.
What You'll Do:
- Department leadership related to staff engagement, budgeting, business growth, quality improvement and physician collaboration.
- Pursue continual improvement of employee wellness programming with the objective of maintaining a healthy workforce.
- Oversight of community wellness offerings including health fairs, firefighter fit testing, and business partner wellness programs.
Requirements

Must have a BS in exercise or clinical health related field; masters degree preferred. At least three years of experience in leading cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation under AACVPR certified standards. Understanding of wellness programming, including knowledge of health risk appraisals and software helpful. Satisfactory completion of BLS and ACLS certifications. Management or supervisory experience required.
