Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Memorial Healthcare System. As a member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care in an area designated as a specialty unit.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and address spiritual, psychosocial, and referral needs.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on assessments and available resources.
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions as necessary.
- Educate patients and families about their health and treatment options.
- Delegate tasks effectively to ancillary personnel and precept new nurses and students.
Requirements:
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Current RN license in the state of Florida.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required for certain areas.
- PALS certification required for pediatric areas.
- NRP certification required for NICU staff.
- Fetal Monitoring certification required for L&D staff.
Working Conditions:
- Varied work environment, including hospitals and clinics.
- Patient care may involve exposure to biohazards, hazardous chemicals, and communicable diseases.
- May be required to lift or carry patients, use computer equipment, and work in a fast-paced environment.
