Summary
The Workforce Development Specialist will work within the Center for Nursing Excellence, Education and Innovation in partnership with the Director of Professional Development & Education, as well as the Clinical Nurse Educators to support orientation and educational programs. This individual will assist in leading all facets of organizing educational events from reservations, catering, interacting with attendees and supporting employee education functions.
This role will manage and facilitate requests from academic partners to optimize student clinical rotations and practicum placements within Memorial Healthcare System.
Responsibilities
Manages the Centralized Clinical Placement System (CCPS) for clinical affiliations.
Registers and tracks attendance for training programs, orientations and special events. Captures and maintains data for reporting purposes.
Schedules conference room requests, maintains audio-visual equipment, and performs general office coordination activities.
Collaborates with Director of Education to facilitate orientation and onboarding programs.
Maintains department database as well as creates reports, upon request.
Maintains inventory of audio visual equipment and maintains equipment in good working condition
Manages and maintains course catalog information for the Learning Management System (LMS) used to provide online educational training for staff.
Manages course registration process and submits documentation to CE Broker for educational credits.
Manages student rotations and requirements using Complio/American Data Bank system
