Licensed for 220 beds, full service, acute-care hospital
Accredited by American College of Cardiology for Chest Pain Center and Heart Failure
Accredited by the American College of Surgeons’ Commission on Cancer
Member of the Duke Heart Network and Duke Telestroke Network
Orientation is bi-weekly on Tuesdays - Candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered Travel
All candidates must have complete and clear screenings before they can start at Sovah Health
Fit tests and HWC are NOT offered onsite.
Job Requirements
Required certifications prior to start : BLS, Handle with Care, NIH
Years of Experience : 1-2
Required certification / licensure to work as an RN in Virginia.
Schedule Information
Shift : Nights : 7P – 7A
Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 36
Weekend Hours : Every Other / As Needed
Call Requirements : As Needed
Float Requirements : As Needed, May require travel within 25-mile radius of facility.
Unit Specific Information
Must Have Skills / Experience : Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
Flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns including weekends and holidays to ensure continuity of care.
