Job Summary:
The Scheduling Associate is responsible for electronic scheduling of patients.
Required Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED.
Required Licensure: N/A
Experience: 1 year of experience in a customer service and/or healthcare setting, including experience using computer applications in a professional environment.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with limited supervision. Excellent communication and comprehension skills. Advanced knowledge of general office procedures and use of office equipment. Proficient skills in computer applications including Microsoft office. Ability to work with various departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Associates degree in medical office administration, information technology, computer science or related degree. Completed courses in Medical Terminology, and/or Anatomy and Physiology.
Licensure: N/A
Experience: Experience using advanced medical terminology in a clinical setting.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities: Basic knowledge of diagnostic tests. Proficient skills using medical terminology and processing medical information.
