Job Summary:
The Physician Compensation Analyst is responsible for administering the physician compensation program. The Physician Compensation Analyst will ensure system policies, procedures and regulations are met and followed through audits, reports, and review of employment agreements, and also ensures that adequate systems of control are in place and working effectively. Works collaboratively with the System Compensation Department to verify compliance with System requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, Information Technology or Healthcare Administration.
Licensure: None.
Experience: Three (3) years of experience administering physician compensation in a healthcare system with greater than fifty (50) employed physicians.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Strong knowledge of healthcare industry, including knowledge of ICD 10 and CPT coding. Ability to understand and interpret contractual agreements. Proficiency in analyzing, reporting, and interpreting data. Must be proficient with a variety of software applications, including Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: Master’s Degree.
Licensure: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP)
Experience: Five (5) years of experience developing and administering physician compensation programs.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Expertise developing pay models and understanding physician contracts.
