Job Summary:
Responsible for providing indirect resident care duties, transportation and social services under the supervision of the licensed nursing personnel and assists in maintaining a positive physical, mental and psychosocial environment for the residents.
Required Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Licensure: Valid Driver’s license (eligibility to be covered by hospital insurance).
Experience: None.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Oral and written communication skills with the ability to assist residents. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, clinical staff and providers. Ability to work independently as well as with a team. Must be resident/customer service oriented, projecting professionalism and socio-economic and cultural sensitivity.
Preferred Qualifications:
Education: None.
Licensure: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Experience: Previous experience in a nursing center.
