Job Title : Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
Job Specialty : Medical Surgical
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 12-Hour Nights, every other weekend, first to float
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : Minimum 2 years
License : Required
Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS)
Must-Have : Experience with Cerner charting system
Job Description :
- Provide care and support under the supervision of the nursing staff for patients in an acute care setting.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding patients.
- Monitor and report any changes in patients' conditions to the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Assist with the movement and transport of patients.
- Document care given in the Cerner system accurately and promptly.
- Be willing to float to different units as required.
- Work collaboratively within a team to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Ability to work night shifts and weekends as needed.
Note : Orientation hours consist of 12 hours. The hospital can cancel up to four shifts per assignment lasting 13 weeks.
