TeamHealth invites you to come lead our team as an assistant facility medical director (AFMD) in the suburbs of St. Louis in Belleville, Illinois We are the sole provider of anesthesia services at Memorial Belleville and Shiloh Hospitals. Memorial Hospital is a designated Magnate hospital affiliated with the BJC Health System.
As an AMFD, you will help lead a team of dedicated professionals who share your commitment to excellence, all while making a noticeable difference in the lives of our patients. Our collaborative and transparent approach includes a collective team of administrative and clinical leaders and clinicians who work tirelessly to help facilities meet anesthesia and overall strategic growth goals.

An award-winning facility, Memorial Hospital Belleville is a 222-bed facility. In addition to being licensed by the State of Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), Memorial Hospital Belleville is well-recognized for its excellence in care. The facility has been named a Regional Hospital Coordinating Center (RHCC) by the IDPH, is Magnet recognized by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and an IDPH designated Stroke-Ready Hospital. Memorial Hospital Belleville is also an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI by the Society for Chest Pain Centers. There are more than 400 medical staff members representing 42 specialties.
