What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomist - Part Time position at Memorial Hospital, Chester, IL?
Apply today to be a part of a 5 Star Hospital Team as a Phlebotomist. This position is as needed to cover days off and shifts are afternoon shifts M-F with some weekend rotations as needed. (Shift hours 2:00pm- 7:00pm). Position will work at the Hospital Lab but could pick up additional hours at the Rural Health Clinics.
Position will primarily consist of phlebotomy coverage in the out-patient lab along with assisting with in-patient and ER draws and clerical duties including verification of physicians, reference lab reports, pathology reports and drug screen files.
Requires: Graduate of Phlebotomy Program and Certificate preferred. Must be able to communicate well, good hearing for phone duties, computer/typing skills, capable of lifting up to 25 lbs. Must be able to move about through the day for patient care.
