A Day in the Life of an Epic Analytics Developer :
The Epic Analytics Developer implements reporting content and creates analytics content. This position is proficient in the organization’s clinical and / or revenue workflows and is organization’s expert report writer. This position acts as the liaison between operations and data and is responsible for the quality and accuracy of reports produced by the Epic Analytics and Reporting team.

Here Is What You Will Be Doing :
Identifies and develops appropriate technological solutions for various reporting needs with Epic and Non-Epic solutions utilizing Epic dataFacilitates report content design with subject matter experts and report consumers and establishes report scope and prioritizationAdvises customers and recommends reporting options using reporting expertiseResponsible for building and maintaining Reporting Workbench Reports, Radar Dashboards, SlicerDicer, SlicerDicer custom filters, Cubes, Extracts, Third-party BI tools to support long-term initiativesMaintains Analytics Catalog and associated metadata records for Epic and Non-Epic systemsAssists the instructional designer with developing training curriculum and training power reporting usersTests report build in a specified testing environment and volume testing in live environments for accuracy of reportsReviews Epic and Non-Epic upgrade documentation related to all reporting tools determines how to build and test the changesEnsures that consumers are satisfied with reports by assisting with interpretation, integration and distribution toolsProvides clear, accurate, and timely communication to leadership regarding risks to the status of build, installation, enhancements, budget or timelineMay travel for support of remote clients and must be available outside of normal business hours.Desired Skills :

Bachelor's degree
OR, Associate’s and two (2) or more years of job-related experienceOR, High School diploma (or equivalent certificate from an accredited program) andfour (4) or more years of job-related experience
Two (2) or more years of healthcare and / or information systems experience (may be concurrent)
One (1) or more years of experience project-based teamwork (may be concurrent)
90 Days : Epic Cogito certification and / or able to achieve Epic Cogito certification within 90 days of last Epic certification class
Nice to Have :
