A Day in the Life of an EPIC Senior Analyst :
This position is responsible for the designing, building, testing, installation, support of and maintenance of the software applications required for utilization of the Epic electronic health record (EHR). As a senior member of the application team, serves as a mentor, providing guidance to less tenured analysts supporting their system specific growth and development.

Here Is What You Will Be Doing :
Acts as the primary support contact for the application's end-usersIdentifies issues that arise in their application area as well as issues that impact other application teams, and works to resolve themGuides workflow design, building and testing the system, and analyzes other technical issues associated with Epic softwareIdentifies and implements requested changes to the systemMaintains regular communication with Epic representatives, including participating in team meetingsWorks with Epic representatives and end users to ensure the system meets the organization's or department’s needsDevelops an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's or department’s workflows which may include attending site visits and other integrated sessionsParticipates in training and working with end usersProvides clear, accurate, and timely communication to leadership regarding risks to the status of build, installation, enhancements, or timeline.Holds regular communications with team members and end user to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, and upcoming milestones / enhancementsProvides application-specific onboarding, guidance, and support of new analystsOversees and delegates work to analysts as appropriateMay travel for support of remote clients and also must be available outside of normal business hours.Desired Skills :

Bachelor's degreeOR , Associate’s and two (2) or more years of job-related experienceOR , High School diploma (or equivalent certificate from an accredited program) and four (4) or more years of job-related experienceSix (6) or more years of healthcare and / or information systems experience (may be concurrent)Six (6) or more years of experience in electronic health record (EHR) development and support (may be concurrent)Four (4) or more years of project-based experience (may be concurrent)Current Epic CertificationNice to Have :
