Processes assigned medical records and completes requests for information daily following the proper departmental policies and procedures as well as state and federal guidelines.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.

Job Knowledge and Skills:-
Previous experience in an acute care facility Health Information Management Department preferred but not required. Experience in analysis of medical records, medical terminology, and anatomy/physiology is preferred. Minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute.
