JOB SUMMARY
-
Provides quality service in the performance of phlebotomy and specimen collection. Assists technicians in the Laboratory with assigned duties, and performs clerical functions. Provides exceptional service in the performance of receipt, transport and delivery of specimens, paperwork and supplies. Assures registration, processing specimens, and ordering of tests.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
-
High school diploma or equivalent and must be at least 18 years of age. Certified and trained by an approved phlebotomy program preferred but on the job training is also acceptable. Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required. BLS certification preferred or acquired within 30 days. (Must have a valid Wyoming driver’s license and a good driving record (less than 2 moving violations within previous two years, no alcohol/drug related violations on record with the Driver’s License Division.) if courier duties assigned.)
