JOB SUMMARY
- Evaluates and treats patients by physical measures and the use of therapeutic exercises and rehabilitative procedures, with or without assistive devices, for the purpose of preventing, correcting, or alleviating any disability. This includes the design, fabrication, revision, education, and instruction in the use of various assistive devices including braces, splints, ambulatory or locomotion devices, wheelchairs, prosthetics, and orthotics. Establishes and modifies physical therapy programs, treatment planning, instruction, and consultative services.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Education:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy. Master’s degree in Physical Therapy preferred. State of Wyoming Physical Therapist License required. Must have a current BLS certification.
- Job Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of physical therapy theory and practice. Knowledge of physical therapy equipment, modalities, procedures, services, and facilities. Knowledge of applicable Wyoming laws and regulations for physical therapy.
