JOB SUMMARY

Provides quality diagnostic images as ordered by physician. Utilizes clinical and educational scientific principles to focus on achieving the maximal health potential of the patient through planned care. Collaborates with other healthcare providers to evaluate the outcomes of patient care. Shall function independently in one (1) imaging modality.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
-
Graduate of a recognized program in radiologic technology. Current licensure by the Wyoming Board of Radiologic Technologists and registration by ARRT required. Shall function independently in one (1) imaging modality. BLS certification required.

Job Knowledge and Skills:-
Ability to lift, move, and position patients. Ability to follow oral and written instruction. Able to integrate scientific knowledge, technical competence and patient interaction skills to provide safe and accurate procedures with compassion. Able to recognize patient conditions essential for the successful completion of the procedure. Must demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology. Maintains a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique. Must possess, use and maintain knowledge of radiation protection and safety. Able to independently perform or assist the licensed independent practitioner in the completion of radiographic procedures. Able to prepare, administer and document activities related to medications in accordance with state and federal regulations.
