What You'll Do :
- Scrub Duties : Perform scrub duties efficiently, following established procedures, policies, and guidelines.
- Nursing Functions : Execute delegated nursing functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to support patient care.
- Collaboration : Work closely with other healthcare providers to deliver effective and efficient patient care, achieving desired outcomes.
- Instrument Handling : Assemble, clean, and sterilize patient care items and instruments across various departments.
- Documentation : Accurately document and report observations to the Registered Nurse, including recognizing and communicating significant information necessary for quality care.
- Performance Improvement : Participate in identifying clinical and operational performance improvement opportunities and contribute to activities demonstrating positive patient care outcomes.
- Health Teaching : Provide patient and family health education as delegated and observed by the Registered Nurse.
- Professional Development : Maintain accountability for your professional practice and development; stay updated with current nursing standards and hospital policies.
- Emergency Response : Be prepared to respond to emergencies outside of normal working hours.

- Attendance : Demonstrate regular and predictable attendance, attending all mandatory education and in-services (team training, safety, infection control, etc.).
- Compliance : Adhere to the hospital's Ethics and Compliance program, reporting any compliance variances to your immediate supervisor or the appropriate channels.What You'll Bring :
- Education : Graduate of an accredited school of licensed practical nursing program.
- Licensure : Licensed as an LPN in the State of Ohio.
- Continuing Education : Completion of twenty-four (24) contact hours of approved continuing education every two years as required by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Certification : Continuous certification in American Heart Association BLS.
