Position Summary
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of an AMA Educational Program in Radiologic, Ultrasonography, or Nuclear Medicine.
- Minimum Experience: Three to five (3-5) years' technical experience. Prefer some supervisory experience. Experience in Process Improvement and Quality Assurance activities.
- Certification/Licensure: Holds and maintains current registry certificate of American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ARDMS (Ultrasound) or NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine). Holds and maintains current New Mexico State License. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required for all areas where moderate sedation is performed.
New Hires: Required BLS certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment. ACLS certification must be obtained within one year of employment if moderate sedation will be performed. If currently certified, must maintain current certification. Certification or completion courses must meet the standards of Memorial Medical Center.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
