Essential Functions :

  • Under the supervision of a medical provider, assists with performing patient assessments and treatments.
  • Performs basic diagnostic procedures and specimen collection. Monitors and communicates changes in patient condition. Documents patient care given.
  • Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting. Maintains examination areas.
  • Performs administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, phone triage, and patient registration.
  • Exhibits exceptional customer service with patients and teammates.

    • Job Requirements : Minimum Education :

  • Current Certification in Clinical Medical Assisting from an accredited program - Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent - Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required within 30 days of hire

    • Required Skills :

  • Computer experience in word processing, database programs, and spreadsheets
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively
  • Requires critical thinking skills, detail-oriented with decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days; One of the following : CCMA, CMA, or RMA within 60 days
