Responsible for collaborating with other health professionals in organizing, implementing, and evaluating the quality of patient care. Perform specific nursing duties within the scope of practice as stated in the Nurse Practice Act of Arkansas and the standards and expectations of the institutions, as supported by the mission, vision, and core values of the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer injections per physician orders.
- Instrument cleaning and packaging.
- Exam room maintenance.
- Monitor inventory and order patient supplies for the prospective work area as required.
- Review and update vaccines in the Athena EHR.
- Assist the provider with procedures.
- Schedule and pre-authorize all outpatient diagnostic procedures and provider-to-provider referrals as needed.
- Coordinate provider schedules as necessary.
- Perform diagnostic testing : ECGs, Spirometry, and ear irrigation as needed.
- Other duties and assignments as required or requested.
Position is required to be on site.
