Essential Functions and Basic Duties:
Position Specific Performance Expectations:
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as
- Performs delegated and ancillary basic nursing skills, including activities of daily living, monitoring of patient condition, body mechanics, providing nutritional support, and other standards of care, policies, and
- Documents care as
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and take appropriate
- Communicates clearly, honestly, appropriately, and in a timely manner with patients, families, and care team
- Completes documentation of care/behaviors with accuracy according to facility
- Respects the confidentiality of patient information and adheres to HIPAA and facility guidelines.
- Recognizes and reports changes in the patient’s condition.
- Demonstrates caring attitudes and behaviors to develop therapeutic
- Demonstrates respect, equity, and empathy in actions and interactions with culturally diverse and vulnerable patients.
- Demonstrates knowledge of facility safety
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age (21 for driving positions).
- Must be able to legally work in the United States.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and breath alcohol test (if applicable).
- Must complete employee health meeting.
Required Education/Licensure/Certification:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent), preferred.
- Valid Colorado Certified Nursing Assistant Certification, required.
- Current BLS certification (or must be obtained within 90 days).
Experience:
- One (1) year Nursing Assistant experience, preferred.
- Med/Surg or Long-Term Care experience, preferred.
Position Classification: Non-exempt
Compensation Range: $18.03 to $22.97
