Nursing Assistant | NYC
Exciting Opportunity at MSK : We are seeking Nursing Assistants to become a part of our team of dedicated professionals! As a member of our Magnet- designated Nursing team, you will provide support to the inpatient nursing staff, while working to ensure comfort and safety for our patients and their family members.

Role Overview :
- Be responsible for taking patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart and respiratory rate, temperature and oxygen saturation
- Encourage patient to perform exercises and guide patient activities as advised including ambulating, transferring, turning and positioning
- Maintain a clean, comfortable environment for each patient that aligns with MSK policies and procedures
- Perform personal hygiene tasks for patients including bathing, mouth care, peri-care and skin care
- Ensure patient has necessarily supplies every single day including a clean gown, towels, soap, etc; change bed linens as needed
- Record intake and output
- Escort discharged patients out of hospital as directed by RN
- Provide Post-mortem care
