Job Description

As a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Memorial Sloan Kettering, you will have the opportunity to play a relevant role in our fight to conquer cancer alongside clinicians who are internally and externally recognized as leaders in multiple fields! The Pharmacy Department uses a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, emphasizing therapeutic efficacy, and safety. We deliver comprehensive, clinical and dispensing services in both inpatient and ambulatory care settings through a decentralized satellite pharmacy services model. We are looking for a confident, collaborative, and passionate individual to join us on our Pediatric Oncology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist team. In this role, you will serve as a fully coordinated member of the inpatient services and ambulatory clinics to provide sophisticated clinical pharmacy services primarily in inpatient pediatric oncology, outpatient hematologic malignancies and outpatient neuro-oncology and neuroblastoma. Role overview : Provide drug therapy design and monitoring, patient medication counseling, and participation in Collaborative Drug Therapy Management (CDTM)Serve as part of a committee to develop treatment guidelines and pharmacy policiesGuide the preceptorship of PGY-2 Oncology Pharmacy residents and pharmacy students (in the pediatric oncology practice setting)Educate hospital staff through Grand Rounds presentations and in-service trainingQualifications : PharmD (or equivalent)NYS license (or eligibility)A completed ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Practice ResidencyCompleted ASHP-accredited PGY2 Oncology or Pediatric Pharmacy Residency and required to become board-certified within 2 years of hire date.Additional Information : Hours : Regular hours of work fall between 8 : 00am and 4 : 00pm, Monday - Sunday, 37.5 hours per week (days)Shift : Day; Flexibility may be required depending upon the needs of the departmentPay Range : $131,800.00-$217,500.00 THE APPLICATION DEADLINE IS 1 / 31 / 25.
