Position Summary
The Director of the Todd Cancer Institute (TCI) in collaboration with the Executive Director, MCI is responsible for strategic planning, marketing, business development, implementation and evaluation of all Cancer related programs and accreditations, education and patient care programs, including operational and fiscal oversight of these programs. The Director is also responsible for the integration of the Adult Cancer Programs with the strategic plan for the TCI, LBMMC and MHS . The Director is the principal ambassador for cancer care at LBMMC and articulates the TCI vision to professionals, local businesses and the community including health care providers, prospective patients, third party payors, business interests, government agencies, and public officials. The Director directs the community outreach activities of the cancer programs which include educational and fundraising events which are largely coordinated by volunteers. The Director coordinates the activities of the TCI Advisory Board.
