Position Summary
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Saddleback Medical Center. The Medical Records Tech Specialist position provides coverage in the Health Information Management Department in any area needing assistance, including : assisting physicians, staff and ancillary departments with EPIC related deficiencies and questions; EPIC reports; assembling or analyzing charts; assisting with release of information; scanning and validating; processing discharge day; and filling in at Reception desk. Applies knowledge of logic and databases to assemble, operate and support applications and associated databases including Epic, Onbase and Plato.
