Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Job Specialty : Emergency Room

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night, 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00)

Experience :

Minimum of 3-5 years of ER experience

License :

California License required

Certifications :

ACLS

NIHSS

PALS

Must-Have :

Experience in Pediatric Emergency Department

STEMI Certified Facility experience

Stroke Certified Facility experience

Job Description :

Interpret and manage dysrhythmias

Arterial line management

Administer blood products

Central line care and management

Perform phlebotomy and start IVs

Provide continuous IV sedation

Administer IV vasopressors and procedural sedation

Manage cases involving CVA, ortho-trauma, and ventilated patients

Interpret ABGs

Apply isolation precautions

Work with a variety of patient age groups : Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics

Provide weekend coverage every other weekend

Additional Information :

New travelers accepted

Candidates will float within the hospital based on patient census

Flu vaccine required with provisions for medical or religious exemptions

Includes completion of non-billable modules pre-start
