Position Summary
The System Chief Medical Officer serves as the senior physician executive for MemorialCare Health System, providing strategic and operational leadership across our integrated healthcare network. This position is responsible for advancing clinical, operational, and financial excellence and transformation including a role on the oversight team for the Clinically Integrated Network (C.I.N.) and other complex projects and deployments, care coordination across both ambulatory and acute entities, value improvement, performance improvement, quality of care, systemwide patient experience and customer excellence initiatives, patient safety, and physician alignment across all MemorialCare facilities and services.
This position will serve as an internal and external advocate for clinical quality and safety improvement work across the system, and will report directly to the MHS President, in support of the President's Group and MHS Board of Directors. Working across the system, this position will provide physician executive leadership with all levels of operational and clinical leaders, stakeholders, physicians, staff, vendors and consultants to create smooth initiative rollouts and achieve multi-year goals.
