Position Summary
The MemorialCare Executive Director, Services and Indirect Sourcing will proactively manage the system Purchased Services clinical and non-clinical, Indirect and Information Technology contract portfolio. Responsible to develop strategies to optimize spend, operational performance and outcomes through a robust analytics, benchmarking and project management program. The incumbent will provide service vendor subject matter expertise, RFI/RFE/RFP leadership, coordination, and support for operational leaders at all entities. This position will drive performance-based contracting and accountability that ensures shared-risk and continuous system business reviews, performance monitoring and management of our key Purchased Services, Indirect, and Information Technology partner relationships.

Essential Function
- This Effectively collaborates and coordinates with Contracting, Sr. Leadership, Finance, and Operations leaders and key stakeholders across all entities and services lines.
- Leads, facilitates and/or participates in contract negotiations, purchased service, indirect and information technology project management, and executes contracts across all entities and service lines.
- Develops Annual Savings Workplan in conjunction with VAT, Service Line, Operating and Financial leaders which encompass targeted strategic sourcing projects with savings goals.
- Holds vendors accountable to contract terms and provisions across all entities and service lines. Supports entity and leads system standard business performance monitoring and accountability review cadence.
- Understands various service industries from which healthcare providers purchase. Working with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts, effectively incorporates related principles, regulatory guidelines, policy, and functional KPI.
- Researches and analyses vendors to be included in RFI/RFE/RFP's. Prepares and distributes RFP's. Evaluates proposals and oversees development of financial analysis.
- Presents contract recommendations to stakeholders. Effectively summarizes complex topics and presents vetted financial analysis to diverse stakeholder groups.
- Effectively communicates and interacts with all levels of leadership and stakeholder teams in the oversight and management of vendor contract performance. Develops and Maintains a Purchased Services, Indirect and Information
- Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications.
