The Alzheimer's/Dementia Care Unit Charge Nurse is responsible for all the duties in the LPN job description, as well as the duties outlined in this job description. The Unit Charge Nurse provides activity-focused resident care support of the resident's families and implements each 24-hour plan during his/her assigned shift, which consists of periods of rest, guidance needed in ADLs, periods of physical activity, bowel and bladder schedule, adaptation in dining, nutrition and hydration needs, recreation schedule, visitation, behavioral interventions and environmental adjustments. The Unit Charge Nurse receives ongoing Alzheimer's care training.
Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week
