The Opportunity :
The Video Engineer position is responsible for all video and audio engineering support of live events, including shading of cameras, routing video / audio sources throughout the facility and technical setup of the production.
In This Role You Will :
- Prepare cameras required for live broadcasts in a sports environment, including multi camera shading;
- Trouble shoot technical issues that occur, and correct or create a work around during productions;
- Operate extensive video / audio routing system, as well as Multiview system;
- Ensure all sources are within SMPTE standards and are performing at optimal levels;
- Act as final stop for approval in all set-up and pre-set checks for each video production, acting as Video EIC during events and games;
- Assist the team within managing the camera equipment inventory, identify needs for parts and / or maintenance needed, and being proactive in requesting assistance;
- Other related duties as needed.
